Hi again, and welcome back Inside the Studio. A couple weeks ago, I shared with you that my Warm Woolies quilt was featured in the February 2021 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting. To add to this excitement, I am happy to let you know that I now have a quilt kit available for this quilt. That’s right, make your own replica of the Warm Woolies as shown in the magazine. Woohoo! Now this is something to get excited about. I know I am.

Kit Details
The quilt uses an assortment of medium and dark prints in blue, purple, red, green, and orange for the blocks. A black border frames the quilt and makes the blocks pop. Fabrics are from the Woolies Flannel collection by Bonnie Sullivan for Maywood Studio and the following fabrics are included in the kit:
- 13 fat quarters in assorted medium and dark prints in blue, purple, red, green, and orange (blocks)
- Deep Red Herringbone
- Medium Blue Herringbone
- Light Blue Houndstooth
- Navy Houndstooth
- Orange Houndstooth
- Green Checkered
- Orange Checkered
- Violet Red Checkered
- Green Poodle Boucle
- Violet Poodle Boucle
- Teal Dot
- Red Dot
- Green Tweed
- 3 – 5/8 yards Light Gray Herringbone (blocks)
- 5 – 1/2 yards Black Poodle Boucle print (blocks, border, binding)
Additional materials you need to supply are the backing fabric (8 yards) and batting to complete the quilt.
This is a soft and snuggly quilt that you are going to want to make. An innovative construction technique makes straight-set blocks look like they were set on point. Don’t you just love the final look? I do, and I must say this is a quilt I plan to snuggle with all winter long.
